Missile Guidance Systems Explained

According to Missile Guidance for Dummies, this is transcribed from an Air Force training video on the topic of missile guidance.

Jim Kirkpatrick's website further states that this is attributed to the Ground Launched Cruise Missile (GLCM) in the Dec 97 publication of Association of Air Force Missileers. In this newsletter, a similar text on the GLCM Guidance System was "submitted by Colonel (Ret) George Grill, who was with General Dynamics at Greenham Common AB, England - it may not be the first time you have seen this - is seems to apply to all guidance systems."

Tour of DDG 68 The Sullivans at Penns Landing

There are pictures from today's Army-Navy game festivities at Penn's Landing, Philadelphia. Here are pictures of the Arleigh Burke class Aegis destroyers USS The Sullivans (DDG 68) and USS The McFaul (DDG 74)

Incidentally, it was very cold. It was 35 degrees F with 13 mph winds.
